OTB Solar kondigt strategische alliantie aan met het Duitse Roth & Rau

De solarindustrie is in de afgelopen tien jaar zeer sterk gegroeid. In 1999 was de wereldwijde productiecapaciteit van zonnecellen ongeveer 200 MW, nu is dat 15 GW. Er is een belangrijke, sterk innovatieve, bedrijfstak ontstaan waarin wereldwijd 300.000 mensen werken en die een omzet genereert van meer dan 20 miljard dollar. OTB Solar heeft van deze groei kunnen profiteren, mede door voortdurende productvernieuwing. Inmiddels is een competitieve en brede product portfolio opgebouwd.

OTB Solar opens Shanghai office

OTB Solar announced today that it has opened an office in Shanghai, China, and has appointed Wen Lien as Managing Director to lead its expanding China business. All sales, installation and service activities in China will be coordinated from this office.

“Opening an office in China is another step in further strengthening our presence in this key market” says Dr. Paul Breddels, CEO of OTB Solar. The opening was accompanied by a celebration event taking place in Sofitel Pudong that was attended by major cell producers from both China and Taiwan.
